DATA MANAGEMENT

In SDP, Data management is an administrative process which involves the collection of Location, Date and Time System, OS details which will be used for device checks and device binds for the SDP agent.

Create Data Management

  1. Under Configuration, click on Data Management.

  2. Under Data Management, click on the add icon. (Left side of the page)

  1. Configure Variable, Data set name, Description.

Select Variable: Its predefined set of data values such as serial number, location, etc

Dataset Name: Enter a name to identify the dataset.

Dataset Description: This is a description to identify dataset.

  1. Click on ‘Add Dataset’ button.

Add Records to Dataset

  1. Select one dataset and go to the Records section.

  2. Toggle the switch to edit mode.

  3. Click on the add record button.

  1. Add value to the record and click on save.

Steps to Delete Dataset

  1. Select a Dataset that you want to delete.

  2. Click on ‘configuration’ tab.

  3. Under the configuration tab, click on the ‘Delete Dataset’ button.

  4. Confirm the request in the alert box.

Steps to add Dataset into ACL

  1. Select one ACL to add Dataset.

  2. Toggle the switch to edit mode.

  3. Go to Manage rule tab.

  1. Click on +Rule button.

  2. Select Data set Variable, condition and Dataset name.

6. Click on Update Manage Rules.
