InstaSafe Secure Access (ISA) is a Cloud-native Zero-Trust Identity-centric access solution based on the principles of Software Defined Perimeter (SDP). Our Cloud Operations Team is charged with ensuring the platform is resilient in the face of any natural calamities, manmade disaster or other unplanned emergencies.
Our Secure Cloud Infrastructure is deployed across multiple trusted Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) globally, over several Regions and Availability Zones. Redundancy is ensured across each and every solution component, and in the unlikely event of a failure at one location, the architecture allows the services to continue running using resources in other locations with automatic failover. This ensures close to zero disruption to customer operations thereby ensuring business continuity.
CSP facilities have the ability to continue operations for several days, even in the event of a power-grid failure. These facilities are relied upon by InstaSafe and are also shared with organizations across other critical sectors like telecoms, banks, and government services. Physical security, uninterrupted power supply and staffing remain top priorities for these verticals for obvious reasons.
Being entirely cloud-based, the solution offers unparalleled capability to scale at any time. As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, our platform saw an unprecedented surge in demand due to WFH requirements. In the span of a couple of weeks, we increased our presence and access points across several new and existing locations, to ensure our existing customers as well as those newly onboarded continue to operate seamlessly.
Our customers rely on the ISA Solution to enable their employees to securely work from any remote location, without compromising on productivity and user experience. As part of our ISO27001 and Cloud certifications, and due to the nature of our business providing mission-critical services, we're prepared for emergency situations that could have a potential supply-chain impact. And to ensure preparedness, we routinely carry out unplanned drills to simulate such situations in the endeavor to better our monitoring/alerting systems and response times.
