Uninstall the ISA App from Linux (GUI)
This Article provides guidance on how to uninstall the ISA App from Linux GUI.
The User must have sudo access to the system in order to uninstall the ISA App.
Step 1: Stop the InstaSafe Service
Open Terminal and run the command 'sudo service instasafe stop'
Step 2: Remove the InstaSafe Folder
Run the command 'sudo rm -rf /etc/instasafe/'
Step 3: Remove the InstaSafe Log File
Run the command 'sudo rm -rf /var/log/instasafe*.log'
Step 4: Remove the ISA App
Run the command 'sudo unlink /usr/share/applications/InstaSafe.desktop'
and 'sudo rm -rf /opt/instasafe/'
In case you are unable to uninstall the ISA App by following these steps, please contact your organization's IT Team.
