ISA Portal Login Error "Something has gone wrong"

Issue
On attempting to login to the InstaSafe Secure Access (ISA) Portal, an error message is received: "Server Error. Something has gone wrong"
This error message indicates an unhanded exception when trying to login, due to which the page could not be correctly rendered. Most probable cause is a discrepancy with the User's Profile provisioned in the ISA Portal, especially those synced via AD/LDAP Authentication Profiles.
